Funky Fish Matariki Cake Competition
Cat.1:For under 15yrs.Decorate a Matariki cake with the theme of the maori new year. As its a celebration cake it will be judged for decoration that sets it apart from traditional celebration cakes.Points awarded for edibilty.Cat.2: Open to all ages. The aim is to find a cake that uses local produce to create a delicious original cake that celebrates the Kaipara region and can be claimed as the special cake that is enjoyed during the Matariki period.
